Inviting people to team projects in Abstract is an essential part of collaboration.
By default, each member of your organization has access to every team project within your organization.
- A member is someone invited to your organization who is part of your team. Members have access to each team project within an organization; members do not automatically have access to private projects. A member can be a viewer, contributor, or an administrator. Members can also be project administrators.
In some cases, you may want to invite someone to a specific team or private project as a guest.
- A guest is typically someone from outside your organization who is invited to one or more specific projects (team or private projects). Oftentimes, guests are contractors or clients who only need to see a portion of your organization's work. A guest can be a viewer or a contributor. Guests can also be project administrators.
You only need to invite guests to team projects since members automatically have access. Invite members and guests to private projects if you're subscribed to the Business plan.
